There are many reason that cause a small business to fail. The majority of them are caused by bad financial management – poor cash flow, debtors out of control, lack of focus on profit margins, trading beyond your business’s ability to meet commitments.
All of these issues identified can be rectified if they are correctly identified at an early stage.
The main reason I have seen business deteriorate is due to the lack of the owner taking action.
Some business owners will attest that they are not experts in the financial field, and that is fine as every person has their strengths and weakness.
The only difference is that the owners needs to realise when it is time to call for help.
Getting the proper help early enough can turn your business around into a winner.
