The Abbott Government will deliver it’s first budget on Tuesday 13 May 2014 and we have been warned not to expect anything special but to be aware that there will be more pain and cuts to turn the budget around from it’s current deficit.
I will be writing a short plain English review of the budget for you all on Wednesday and summarising how the budget could affect you and your family.
I will be looking for the budget to show strong growth signals that the economy has improved and will continue to improve under their proposed cuts. We have to understand that their needs to be some cuts and that the budget needs to be turned around, it is how this will be achieved and how Treasury will go about making this happen without causing the economy to slow.
